Apoyando la Salud Mental y el Bienestar de los Estudiantes de Educación Superior

Resumen


Informe de la UNESCO que describe el estado actual de la salud mental y sentido de bienestar de los estudiantes de las instituciones de educación superior (IES) a nivel mundial y plantea algunas medidas para superar la crisis de que cada vez más se evidencia en las estadísticas y experiencia del personal académico. El informe analiza las causas de este fenómeno, señalando a las dificultades económicas y presiones académicas y ofrece respuestas tentativas, como son: la atención psicológica gratuita, la capitación del personal académico y el impacto de las campañas informativas. Por último, se puntualiza que la responsabilidad de solucionar esta problemática debe ser compartida por las IES, gobiernos y la sociedad en general.
